What Kyras reads in Shopify.

Taken from the connector. For revenue, Kyras prefers your orders to what an analytics tool or an ad platform says about them.

With your other sources.

Shopify knows the real sale. The other sources say where it came from and what it cost.

  • Real MERYour sales divided by all your Google Ads and Meta Ads spend. The figure the ad platforms don't give you.
  • The behavior behind the saleShopify knows neither channels nor sessions. GA4 brings them, Shopify brings the real sale.
  • What search brings inThe pages and queries that bring in traffic, set against sales over the same period.

What you should know before installing.

What Kyras does not do with this source, or does with a caveat. You know it before you connect.

Connect Shopify step by step, in the help center

  • Shopify knows neither the channel, nor the source, nor sessions. To know where sales come from, connect GA4 too.
  • Margin is only calculated if every product sold has a cost price. Otherwise Kyras does not show it, rather than estimate it.
  • A read covers 10,000 orders at most. Dates follow Shopify's universal time (UTC).
  • Shopify-specific alerts are not active yet. For now, alerts rely on your other sources.

Exactly what you authorize.

Kyras writes nothing to your store: no order, no product, no theme. It only sets up the technical subscriptions Shopify requires of any app, for notifications and billing.

Read permissions.

Orders and their history, products, inventory, and the customer ID. No name, email or address.

In Claude too.

Once Shopify is connected, Claude can ask it the same questions through the Kyras MCP server, and receive figures that are already verified.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us before connecting.

Does Kyras change my Shopify store?

No. Kyras reads your orders, products and inventory. It creates and changes no order, no product, no theme.

Does Kyras read my customers' personal data?

No. Kyras reads the customer ID to count returning customers, never their name, email or address.

How does Kyras calculate margin?

From the cost price entered in Shopify. If a product sold has no cost, Kyras shows no margin rather than guess it.

Should Shopify or GA4 be my main source?

Both, for two questions. Shopify is the reference for what was sold and collected, GA4 for where visits come from. Kyras takes revenue from your orders and behavior from GA4.

How do I install Kyras on Shopify?

From the Shopify App Store. Billing goes through Shopify.

Install Kyras from your store.
